The Productive output of PowerBook Studio
I have been fanatical about maintaining a recording studio that is so small it can be taken anywhere without relying on a truck. At the same time I don't want to compromise sound quality.
The PowerBook Studio was born by accident when I found myself having to downgrade from a pretty comprehensive pro-recording setup based on Pro Tools LE.
In a nutshell, I found the system I have now, although with some practical limitations holds it's own in the sound quality stakes and in many cases, exceeds the standards of many DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) solutions currently available at a fraction of the cost.
Eventually I gained the confidence to stand by my diminutive recording system and say proudly that it is a professional recording and mixing studio and so the name "PowerBook Producer" was created. In development here is mostly multimedia material that will showcase and educate in all things PowerBook and that it is most certainly possible to release proper records recorded on a budget system.
